why cant i play ???

i downloaded th enew patch but still i get somekind of runtime error. what to do?

So you downloaded and installed both the new patch and the new launcher but it still doesnt work?

I am so sorry that i cant play. I havent figured out whats the problem with rf or my computer and i hope that i can play soon. I allso hope tha im not kicked from guild yet. But if u kick(ed) me i hope i can join u guys again.

you wont get kicked because you can't play. Let's all try to figure it out.

Paste this Launcher over the old one in C:/EQG/RFOnline or whatever folder you have installed RF in.

Now, Download: link

Install it in C:/EQG/RFOnline or whatever folder you have installed RF in.

If after doing this you still can't play, please try to reinstall the game.

I tried all that, but when i downloaded the patches it still said the same runtime error. And when i try to reinstall the game my computer restarts litllebit before the end. I think the problem is in my computer and im trying to get a new one, but it might take a bit time, mayby untill the end of summer. I wish u all good luck and hope to see u soon in RF.

wow, thats weird. are you sure you installled the things in the right folder?

I will upload the full client for u at Rapidshare. Then u just need to extract the file and all is up to date. When u get after that again the error then update all important drivers. DirectX, maybe new ServiecePack. Windows is atm at SP 3 and Vista at SP2 so if u dont have those Service Packs download them from and install them.

btw try not to uninstall the client just reinstall it and use the 2 patches in corect order.

Ahh there is a stupid problem with this patch... They writen folder name wrong [RFOnline] when it should be RF Online so if u just extracted into Equilibrium Gaming folder u didnt patch corectlly. Other thing is u could have corrupted the game somehow and need to reinstall it. Runtime error can also be caused by corrupted registry and bad drivers. If you cant solve it find me on msn we will make it work hehe =)

Yeah... as Dark mentioned it before... the patch that was released doesn`t owerwrite the original files... instead it creates a new folder... if the patch won`t ask you to rewrite the files inside you`r RFe game folder then it will make a separate folder... after the patch is done... just go to that folder and copy those files in you`r RFe game folder... it`ll owerwrite em... and it should be ok... i tell it bcz that hapened to me... maybe even with you

I use a different folder, so i had to chosse the path myself... see if it's that.
