how to record videos?
Hey guys,
I got a question. What do you use to record videos ingame? I tried fraps but newer versions allow you to record just 30sec [or else you got to pay for the programm] and the old freeware versions just support a shitty resolution like less than 800x600 o_O I mean you cant even select it in the settings... and besides that all your screen is just like interface and chat... xD
NOT GOOD
Any advice?

Re: how to record videos?
I've always used FRAPS and I haven't had any problems with it, but if you don't like it you can always use Xfire.

Thx, Rain.
Which Fraps version do you use? You stick with the 30 seconds or got the full version?
Never used xFire yet but I'll check that out.

Download and install xfire, direct links are given, just click [if you already have them, ignore]
http://media.xfire.com/xfire/client/xfsite/xfire_installer.exe
Register a new xfire account:
http://www.xfire.com/register/
Make xfire able to recognize RFe:
open Xfire, go to options and click the games tab
a list will generate and you want to open the list that says "not installed"
search for RF Online, and click it once,
on the right hand side, click manual setup and point the browse button at the folder you installed RFe in
it is REQUIRED
that you have rf.exe in that folder
and an icon in the fireguard folder
it will tell you what it needs
once its happy that it has everything, click apply, and then ok.
run RF and you will see the popup and the bottom right
Xfire Enabled : Online
then your done
to record videos, press Scroll lock and V same time to start and to stop
